We got our first snow fall of the year last night. At our place we got around 2.5 inches and that is a lot for being as close to the water as we are. Just like last year, Sam was in heaven when he woke up and saw the white blanket of snow in our backyard. To Sam it's like he woke up to his world covered in treats! (If you spend much time around us you know that ice cubes are one of Sam's favorite treats) So he spent about 20 min shoveling his face in the yard trying to each as much as possible. You'll get a kick out of some of the video footage of him below. Enjoy!

Pepcid AC...one would think that by seeing this image TJ or I may be experiencing some heart burn or acid reflux issues. Oh contraire! That would be Sampson's latest rounds of meds. Yup...lil man has an ulcer. I swear...we take him to the doctor 5 times more than we go! Poor lil guy can't get a break. So here is what happened.....
Ever since we got back from the cabin last Saturday Sammy was acting funny. We chalked it up to lack of rest and not getting his usual 18 hours of sleep a day. Then on Monday morning he started throwing up, but not food... just stomach biol. Then we thought maybe it was something he ate or was getting a cold or something... but it kept happening consistently about 6 hours we fed him. So off to the vet we went....again. Turns out Sam had an ulcer and gets to have Pepcid AC two times a day for a week. Its been two days of the treatment and he is already back to normal. So lessons for the day.....people need to listen when TJ and I tell them not to feed Sammy people food...except veggies and fruit are ok... (or they can pay the vet bill) and Pepcid AC...useful for everyone! Including puppies with sensitive stomachs. :)
See you on Christmas!!!

Sunset from the ferry ride over...
Sorry for the many changes to the look of our blog in the last few weeks. TJ and I are still trying to figure this thing out and I finally found a site with layouts that I like! Hope you like the new look for Fall.....I plan to change it to a Christmas/Winter theme after Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

Well.....we are moving AGAIN. Yup that's correct! But this will be our last move until we buy our first home next year.
It is a huge old home in the Madison Park area with a ton of space and ton of old world charm. We have never had this much space and we can not be happier to have it. It is in walking distance to Madison Park, a ton of shops, and restaurants.
